Pastor Jeff Alexander has been the pastor of Mount Olive Lutheran Church
in Greenwood, Indiana since September 23, 2007.
Born and raised in Edwardsville, Illinois, Jeff was blessed to be a part
of a wonderful family and church family. Early in his life, God planted in
his heart a desire to creatively communicate the Gospel of Christ and to
serve Christ through the pastoral ministry.
Following high school graduation in 1997, he entered into the pre-seminary
program at Concordia University in Seward, Nebraska, studying biblical
languages and earning a bachelor of arts degree in communications in May
2001. In June 2001, Jeff married Heather Boche, a Wyoming native who
earned her education degree at Concordia Nebraska.
In the fall of 2001, Jeff began his studies at Concordia Seminary, St.
Louis, graduating with a master of divinity degree in May 2005. After
serving as an associate pastor in the greater Phoenix area, Jeff received
and accepted the Call to be Mount Olive's pastor in September 2007.
In addition to pastoring, Jeff enjoys playing hoops, following the St.
Louis Cardinals, reading presidential biographies, and serving as a
regular guest on KFUO AM-850 Christian Radio in St. Louis. Jeff and
Heather are blessed with four children: Nathan Jeffrey, Micah William, Noah Warren, and Audrey Kristine.
