Mount Olive Lutheran Congregation exists to bring people
into a living relationship with Jesus Christ through:
Fervent Worship, Caring Relationships, Spiritual Growth, Service and Outreach.
Fervent Worship
Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind… (Matthew 22:37)
Caring Relationships
Love one another as I have loved you. (John 13:34)
Spiritual Growth
It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. (Ephesians 4:11-15)
Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Savior Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 3:1)
Service
Do you understand what I have done for you. You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. (John 13:12-16)
The Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve… (Mark 10:45)
Outreach
The Son of Man has come to Seek and to Save that which was lost. (Luke 19:10)
Come and join us at Mount Olive. There's a place for you!
